JACKSONVILLE, FL: One Riverside, a luxury apartment complex in Jacksonville, Florida, is set to welcome a Whole Foods grocery store and additional retail space. The development, which opened in 2020, has already attracted a variety of tenants, including a coffee shop, nail salon, and a fitness studio. However, the addition of Whole Foods is expected to be a major draw for the area.
According to the article, “The 44,000-square-foot Whole Foods will be the first in Jacksonville to feature a bar and restaurant, according to a news release from Regency Centers, which is partnering with The Hallmark Group on the development. The store will also offer outdoor seating and a rooftop terrace.”
The One Riverside development is located in the historic Five Points neighborhood, which has been undergoing a revitalization in recent years. The addition of a high-end grocery store and other retail options is expected to further boost the area’s appeal.
“The addition of Whole Foods and other retailers to One Riverside will create a vibrant, walkable community for Five Points and the surrounding neighborhoods,” said Nick Hembree, Vice President of Investments at Regency Centers.
Overall, the expansion of One Riverside is expected to bring new life to the area, with the luxury apartments and high-end retail options helping to attract new residents and visitors alike.
